"I Need Air" ~ Magnetic Man

“With all three of us doing it it’s going to get ultra-no-holds barred” says Skream. “This is Magnetic Man. It’s no longer three people: it’s a whole.”

2010 looks set to be Magnetic Man’s year as they prepare for the release of their debut album. The first taste the world will get is “I Need Air,” a track that takes the dark, foreboding beat of dubstep but twists it into an edgy pop gem, complete with vocals from Angela Hunte, better known for co-writing the Alicia Keys track “New York State Of Mind.” It’s certainly a statement of intent and one that looks set to propel Magnetic Man into the stratosphere of contemporary, modern UK pop music.

This video was filmed during the trio’s recent live performance at Manchester’s Parklife festival. The single available for download on July 25th comes backed with remixes by Redlight and the Digital Soundboy crew.
