Steve Goodman Art Shows in LA And NYC In June

Kode9’s alterego Steve Goodman… wait… right… is going to perform at two art shows Stateside this June. The more detailed info on both shows in LA and NYC is below:

Saturday, June 4th:
STEVE GOODMAN @ Hammer Museum,

Part of “Can Art and Politics Be Thought” a hybrid conference/performance series curated by Kenneth Reinhard and Drew Daniel (Matmos) that will discuss the question of the relationship of art and politics in a series of presentations by contemporary artists, critics, and philosophers. Steve will be doing two presentations at 1pm and a performance at 8pm.

Tuesday June 14th:
AUDiNT and others: Panel Discussions
@ TBA, New York, NY

AUDiNT, short for “Audio Intelligence” is a collaborative, research team comprised of artists and scholars Steve Goodman, Toby Heys and Jon Cohrs. Along with special guests they will discuss a number of issues related to their upcoming exhibition “Dead Record Office.”

Friday June 17th – Saturday July 23rd:
AUDiNT: “Dead Record Office” exhibition
@ Art in General, 79 Walker St, New York, NY

This exhibition, “Dead Record Office,” explores the historical and fictious relationship between sound and warfare. This is the first New York exhibition for the collaborative research team AUDiNT (Steve Goodman, Toby Heys and Jon Cohrs).
