Unsound Festival – Bass Mutations: Sepalcure, 2562, Distal, Throwing Snow +++ Big Up Curated Visual Program

Third annual NYC edition of Polish-born Unsound Festival is off to a great start and we’re very excited for the upcoming 4 days of performance by Actress, 2562, Hype Williams (a little birdie told us they’ll pull off some crazy stunt tonight. Hype.), ITAL, Sepalcure, Monolake, Biosphere, Nguzunguzu, Distal, Throwing Snow and many many more… You can see the whole schedule here.

We’re honored to be presenting a Visual Program for the Bass Mutations night on Saturday at IndieScreen. We have carefully selected 12 outstanding motion artists from all over the world to showcase during the music night featuring sets by 2562, Sepalcure, Distal, Nguzunguzu, Throwing Snow and Teeth. The visual pieces including animations, light installations, 3d mapping, video collages and short films will be screened at the movie theater inside the venue.

The international array of featured artists includes Brooklyn-based Sougwen, Takafumi Tsuchiya‘s work from Tokyo, Berlin-based Turkish artist Ali M. Demirel, London’s Ashes 57 and Benny Ill, New Yorker Raz Mesinai, LA’s Subtranca, Nicolas Dufoure from France, Miguel Vega from San Diego, Zurich-based Francois Chalet, Belgium-based Yannick Jacquet aka Legoman, and the mysterious A.Chal. Some still-shots preview of what you might expect as part of the program right after the break.
